My aunt and uncle gave us a set of 8 of these cups for a wedding gift - nearly 25 years ago. All eight have survived all those years. Until now.

I made the mistake of hugging my son while I had a cup of soda in my hand. When he brought his arm back down and I brought my arm back, we collided, throwing Cherry Dr Pepper across the kitchen as the cup hit on the edge as it landed on our tile floor.

Sad face.
