220-365 niobium peeps

My sister and I attended an art and craft fair today and the first booth we happened upon was run by a man who creates jewelry from niobium. I've worn small niobium hoops in my top holes for many years. The store where I used to purchase them has gone out of business, however, so they've been colorless after much wash and wear (I never take them out). I was not only excited to discover that this particular artisan sells little hoops (so I promptly replaced mine!), but he also makes some other very funky, colorful earrings. These little dudes were very fun! I think they're throwing their hands in the air, having a partay! And their legs and bodies wiggle around. Cause they're grooving. At their partay.

143-365 heart earrings

My parents gave these to me for my birthday. They're so cute and fun!

365-12 fossil

I just love this watch. My honey and the boys gave it to me for Christmas many years ago. In the summer, my arm would sometimes get a little too sweaty, so I'd park it until cooler temps rolled in. But one year, the battery had just stopped running. And I'm sorry to say it took me probably 5 years to get around to replacing it. Mostly because I just look at my cell phone when I need to know the time. Sad, isn't it?

I am happy to report that last week I got it out, put it on my arm as a reminder for the day (dead battery and all) and finally made it to the jeweler and it's been running . . . well, like a clock . . . ever since! And it makes me very happy to see it on my arm again.

And no, that's not my arm. It's a little wrist pad for my Bamboo tablet (I don't have a mouse). I noticed that the fabric is in better focus than the watch, but it was a very tricky shot due to the curvature of the crystal.
