We had a spontaneous out-of-town trip and it just happened to fall on hubby's birthday. He didn't mind driving since it meant the day off, as well as time in the mountains.

Hubby's Blackberry, which he has totally loved, was involved in an accident last month, from which it never recovered. While he originally thought he'd just upgrade to the next BB Storm, that was before the Droid X was about to make it on the scene. So we showed up bright and early at Verizon and managed to get one before they sold out. I must admit, it's a pretty awesome phone. Well, that's kind of an understatement. You've heard of smart phones? This is a brilliant phone.

We dropped by my hubby's brother's place and when he came out to talk, I had to chuckle. It struck me funny that they both were wearing gray hoodies. They don't see each other real often and haven't been known for having identical tastes.

Although now that I think about it, my BIL did marry a woman named Diane. Hmmm.
