Practically speaking, my kitchen ROCKS! It's the biggest kitchen I have EVER had. I have some 14 drawers, 2
As excited as I am about moving, I will miss this enormous kitchen - from a functional perspective. There are definitely no plans to add orange and green wallpaper.
Happy, happy! My toaster - used daily. Magnetic poetry - cause it's so fun and silly. My Bosch Compact - for baking goodness.
Cupboards, cupboards, cupboards. They're not all stuffed full. Such a luxury.
There are five of these globes on the light fixture. Also a switch that turns off part of them, some of them, or all of them. Sort of like a dimmer, only not.
Interesting woodwork. It kind of grows on you, er me. The wallpaper escaped into the dining room. The light? It's a reflection in the dining room window. While it's not the kitchen per se, they're connected. By wallpaper. And dark wood.
This floor can be UBER dirty and it never shows. Such camouflage is a blessing and a curse. Okay, mostly a curse. Especially if you walk in with bare feet.

I envy all the storage space you have. There's not much room in ours, I have to rethink Mom's old storage pattern. Doesn't work for me. Those word magnets are great. I'm looking for some in french so my Chicklet and I can leave silly messages for each other.
Your kitchen is lovely! I love the angle on the cabinet shot! Nice!
Now that is some cool wallpaper! :D I'm not sure if I would leave it or not. And does this mean you closed on the new house!?
That scrolling woodwork reminds me of vintage late 60's - I'm telling my age here - seen in a lot of my friends houses growing up.
Poetry on the frig - I love that idea!
I love your kitchen.. looks a bit old fashioned. Mine was built in the 50's... original cupboards but a gross 60's floor - orange or something.... LOL Yours is quite pretty!
Sounds like a fantastic kitchen to me...though dark brown wouldn't be my choice either. To have all those counters!!! Someday, someone is going to be able to refurbish it and it'll be awesome!
Looks like a nice kitchen - and it really is nice to have lots of space. I'm with you on the wallpaper but I'm not a wallpaper person by nature.
Thanks for the tour. I think you should get an award for showing more of your kitchen that most have done.
I really like the first shot... what a wonderful reflection you captured! The globe is beautiful, too!
i LOVE magnetic poetry! We have 2 lazy susans too and I'm not sure how I ever lived without them!
VERY cool shots. I love the low angle of the counter top with the strong reflection. Your composition in your photos is fun to see. You're really doing great with this!
Love the perspective and the reflection in the first shot! Excellent photos!!

I love the reflection in the 1st photo!
A big kitchen rocks! We planned ours to maximize storage and counter space, and we use every inch of it!
I love the way you've set up each shot as a separate little vignette.
