I've been in a big, huge photo rut. Just seems like there's not much catching my attention. I carry a camera around and look, but see nothing. Tonight my sister texted me to go check out the moon (which was awesome, btw, and yes, I got some shots). But when I was heading back in, I noticed that the dried leaves and flower husks in my garden had some light shining through from the motion-sensor light on our garage. Even though it was night, they looked very cool. So I grabbed a chair, plopped my tripod in the garden, and zoomed in to shoot.
This is one of my favorites. SOOC version.
A little dark, so I adjusted the levels a bit and I thought this one looked like it was in the bright sun.
Then I made one more adjustment to somewhere in between.
While I was in playing mode, I figured I'd throw on some Photo Veils from Love That Shot. The two I used are from the Botanical Collection.
First up is Bells-of-Ireland-lts, with Linear Light at 48% opacity. I like the way it looks like that could be some garden bokeh in the background.
Next up is Wintercress-lts with Linear Burn at 100% opacity. This was just kind of fun with the crazy deep gold.
.
What do you think? Which is your favorite?

I like the 3rd, 4th, and 5th! :)
That first veil you used sure did make a dead flower have such life in it. That is a beautiful veil!!! I like the golden look to the last one too. Very pretty indeed. :)
Those are all so neat...but if I had to choose a favorite, it would be the "gardenesque" one. I'm partial to gardens! :)
I like the Bells-of-Ireland one.
How cool! I love the first one and the Bells of Ireland!
great editing!
Gorgeous! They look like they have a blazing sunset behind them. Love the last one.
Fun! I like the 2nd to last. :)
I like the 3rd the best, but they are all cool.
The second one was my fave! What a neat shot!
interesting how much it changes.
