Then & Now - Downstairs

I decided to do a new theme here for the month of December, called THEN & NOW. I'm going through my 2008 pix and finding a shot (for each day that I took a picture) and taking a similar photo this year, just to compare, just for fun. Does that make any sense?

Well, my first entry was one where I took a picture of the boys down in the family room. So I shot another one today, sans boys.

Changes? We have a different desk for the computer and have added a book shelf. The cart on the left from last year has been replaced with a beautiful wood server.

The furniture on the other end of the room has been moved, though you can't see much of it - just the back of the recliner. Still has dirty laundry. Ha! Ha! Our laundry room is TINY - just enough room for the washer & dryer, which means all the laundry sorting happens in the family room.

Last, but not least, we've been painting the family room. Although you can't see that at all. So it's probably a moot point for this. But here it is, nevertheless.
