lens test

I purchased a very inexpensive lens yesterday. It's an AF 55-200mm f/4-5.6 LD Macro lens. Nope, not telling the brand. Yet.

These are SOOC shots. I'm shooting a bunch of things over the next few days to decide if I will keep it or return it. There are plenty of people who don't care for this particular lens and even though I didn't pay much, it's still not worth it if the shots are no good.

Yes, I realize there are two parts to a good shot - the equipment and the photographer. But I would love to get some feedback - good, bad, or otherwise.

Thanks!

I cropped this one to show a little more detail.

Looks good to me! Do tell the brand! Now that I've upgraded my camera, my all-purpose lenses no longer work, so I'm not going to be able to afford to replace with a Nikon. I'm going to be checking into other brands, too.

They look great to me. Every bit as nice as the ones I am taking with the (I'm not saying how much I paid for it) lens I have. I want the details. I have ten days to return my lens. LOL

First of all, that is an unusual fly! Inexpensive lens or not, those are some gorgeous shots. The detail is definitely there!
