Wordless Wednesday - Nothing But Leaves

Apparently there is nothing for me to photograph except leaves. They are, however, some of the first shots from my new camera. Nothing fancy, but time's at a premium right now.

As ever, enjoy many more shots at the Wordless Wednesday hub, Gabriel's (Live from Waterloo), or Hallie's (From the Rubber Room).

I think there's no such thing as too many leaf pics - especially when they're as lovely as these!

New camera! Do tell! (And congrats...what'dja get?)

Lovely. I agree with Carmi -- can't get enough leaves at this time of the year.

Yes! What'dja get? What'dja get?! *clamours to see the new toy*

Your leaves are beautiful, especially with that blue blue sky backdrop. I had to see the rest of your leaves... you have some lovely fall colours there.

Leaves {{shudder}} I just about killed myself exfoliating my yard last weekend, and then I look up and realize the second wave has yet to descend on Casa Mojo.

Funny how they can look so pretty in your photograph and be so evil on the ground.

I'll bet that new camera feels good in your hands and sounds lovely when it clicks. There's something special about the first pictures with a new camera.

First shot with a new camera?
You and your camera will get along real fine, I'll tell you that!

Pretty. Wish we had more of those colors down here. I nearly had a wreck yesterday looking at this RED china Berry tree. Stuck out like a sore thumb amidst our DARK green cedars and all the Live Oaks that decide when they want to turn brown (some stay green all winter). Most of our color comes from brush and bushes - vines and trees that suburban people have planted from other areas.

Apparently not enough camera info - LOL!

It's a Canon Digital Rebel XS. I've had a couple 35mm Rebels in the past, so I can use my 70-300mm lens with it. Well, I could also use my two other kit lenses as well.

Still no time to play with it yet. Maybe I should stay up and shoot things after midnight?!?!

I cannot get enough of leaf pictures. Everyday I notice the changes-- Then I want to run back in and get my camera because I know too soon the leaves will be gone :(

Leaf pictures are the best. We love this time of year. A few weeks ago we went out collecting leaves as a family for the table centerpieces for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Thanks for sharing!!

you guys get the little leaf trees, we get the big banana ones that don't really fit :)
Happy WW! Have you ever seen Hummingbird Babies?

LOVE leaf photos!
That's how it is when you have more than one blog. One usually gets neglected... :(
Great photos!

These are nice...I took some similar shots last weekend, there's something very compelling about the last few leaves on the bare branches at the end of fall.

Ack! I love these. Very nice shots.

Beautiful! All our leaves are gone so I'll just enjoy yours. :) Congrats on the new camera. :)

Hi Dianne, those leaves are fine. You just like leaves and soon we might too. (I do have a leaf story to blog about one of these days.)
I hope you like your new Cannon, I would like a new camera but am too cheap to buy one.
Happy WW! I am running very late today.
